Day 1: Putney – Portsmouth
In 2016 we will be leaving from the Kings Head in Roehampton at 9am. Registration start at 8am and you will have time for coffee and bacon rolls courtesy of our Main Sponsor Youngs and Co. There is no parking at the Pub itself but plenty in the surrounding roads.
The 1st days route is just over 80 miles with ‘feed stations’ every 25 miles or so. Heading off through mainly quiet roads in Surrey and Hampshire with the finish at Fort Purbrook in Portsmouth. From there you will be transported to the ferry port to board the overnight ferry to St Malo at approx. 7pm. You will then be allocated a shared cabin and the crossing takes approx. 12 hours.
