On 1st May 2015, 110 riders along with 10 support crew began a challenging ride from Putney in South West London to Guildford, taking in Portsmouth, St Malo and Caen on the way! Between them the riders burnt up to 1.2 million calories, climbed 1.3 million feet and coped with French drivers and Brittany Ferry DJ’s!
The halow250 is a 250 mile cycle ride in aid of The halow project, a fantastic charity based in Surrey that is supporting young people with a learning disability so that they are able to live independent, meaningful, fulfilled lives and become integrated into their local community. This year they raised over £76,000 for halow, and counting!
